Beyond Victoriana does a brilliant job of collecting and summarizing convention reports. Case in point, this one for the recent Steampunk Industrial Revolution. It amazes me that New Hampshire (where?) can pull of such an amazing event. I mean, they turned the hotel bar into a pirate ship. I have to get out more.

The fabulous blog Beyond Victoriana brings word of another book filled with pretty steampunk pictures. This one is entitled The Art of Steampunk: Extraordinary Devices and Ingenious Contraptions from the Leading Artists of the Steampunk Movement and it’s put together by Art Donovan. Already available for pre-order, it comes out in August.
